Convened by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) and other partners, the conference will commence under the theme, ‘Strengthening Global Teak Resources and Markets for Sustainable Development'. The conference will consider the state of the global teak market as well as options for improving sustainability, productivity, processing and trade.
