At the UN Climate Change Conference in Bonn, Germany, the Government of Indonesia announced that it would host the 3rd Asia-Pacific Rainforest Summit, from 23-25 April 2018, in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The 2018 Summit will provide a platform to progress activities to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, to progress implementation of the Paris Agreement, and for government collaboration. The Asia-Pacific Rainforest Partnership works with governments, the private sector, and civil society to support the implementation of the Paris Climate Change Agreement and REDD+ in the region.
