The 30th Meeting of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group (LEG) will meet in September 2016. The LEG was established by the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP) in 2001, and provides technical support and advice to the least developed countries (LDCs) on national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs) and the LDC work programme, as well as technical guidance and support to the national adaptation plan (NAP) process. The LEG meets twice a year and supports LDCs through: training workshops; development of guides, tools, technical papers, publications and databases; and the review of draft NAPAs.
