The training week targets government officials and private sector experts from non-IEA countries and is to cover the topics of: Energy Essentials for Decision Makers; Energy Markets and Security; Energy Efficiency Policy and Measures; Renewable and Low-Carbon Energy Technology; and Energy Analysis and Modeling. Two introductory courses are also to be offered on 29-30 March 2012, on energy security (introduction to oil and gas markets), and sustainable energy (introduction to energy efficiency and renewables). The application deadline is 31 January 2012. The courses are free of charge but participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
