Open to all UN member states, the Committee on World Food Security serves as a forum to review and follow-up on policies concerning world food security, including food production, sustainable use of natural resources for food security, nutrition, physical and economic access to food and other food security related aspects of poverty eradication, and the implications of food trade for world food security.
