The 22nd and 23rd Meetings of the Inter-agency and Expert Group on Millennium Development Goal (MDG) Indicators (IAEG-MDGs) will take place back-to-back, from 20-21 February 2013, in New York, US. The meetings will review the outcomes of the debates on the MDGs at the 67th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) as well as those of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). Participants also will discuss how to prepare the 2013 global MDG report and the work towards the final evaluation of the MDGs in 2015. The meeting will be preceded by a half-day meeting by the Task Team on Lessons Learned from MDG Monitoring, on 19 February.
