The meeting, convened by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) Near East Forestry and Range Commission (NEFRC), will facilitate discussions on forest issues in the Near East among government officials, civil society and regional and sub-regional organizations. The meeting will also consider progress on the achievement of recommendations from the 20th meeting as well as an update on current and emerging issues.
