2018 Urban Innovation Challenge: Citypreneurs Young SDGs Start-up Competition

The 2018 Urban Innovation Challenge: Citypreneurs Young SDGs Start-Up Competition will be hosted by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), in partnership with the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG), Seoul Digital Foundation (SDF), World Federation of UN Associations (WFUNA), UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO).

The Citypreneurs competition brings together start-up entrepreneurs from around the world to pitch innovative solutions to some of the region’s most critical urban challenges. This year’s competition themes include green energy, urban mobility and social protection. Participating entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to gain recognition and mentor support, and to garner investment funds to turn their innovations into practical solutions that help achieve the SDGs.
