The Overseas Development Institute (ODI) will host the 2014 Centre for Aid and Public Expenditure (CAPE) Conference, centered on the theme of: 'Does money matter?: The Role of Finance in Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)'. The conference will draw on lessons from the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) era and explore how various forms of finance can help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It will bring together research from both the development finance and public financial management spheres to discuss how the SDGs will affect both, and how finance must be channeled to meet the SDGs. The event will be live-streamed online to an international audience.
