The UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance (SCF) will convene its 17th meeting (SCF 17) to discuss, inter alia: its 2018 workplan and 2018 Forum; the 2018 biennial assessment and overview of climate finance flow; measurement, reporting and verification of support beyond the biennial assessment; and draft guidance to the operating entities of the Financial Mechanism of the Convention. The SCF assists the Conference of the Parties (COP) in exercising its functions in relation to the Financial Mechanism.
