The 17th International River Symposium will convene under the theme 'Large River Basins' and address issues including: large river basin management; science and knowledge for river policy and management; rivers for industries; rivers and communities; and river restoration and management. The conference will also discuss case studies, including on the Rhine River, the Murray-Darling Basin and the Mekong River.
