This conference will meet under the theme “Human and Environmental Health Risk Factors in the Pacific Basin,” and cover such areas as: hazardous waste management and remediation; E-waste; air pollution; persistent toxic substances; emerging pollutants; climate change; and children's environmental health. More specifically, proposed sessions are expected to address, among others: an ecosystem approach to environmental health in the Pacific Basin; environmental impact of natural disasters; and arsenic projects in Southeast Asia.
