The 16th International Business Forum (IBF) will convene under the theme 'Green and Inclusive Business: Exploring and Developing Markets for Sustainable Growth'. The event aims to foster dialogue and knowledge transfer between businesses, governments and civil society to promote, develop and scale up sustainable business models in developing and emerging countries. The event will focus on combining economic, social and environmental objectives into business models. The Forum will include innovative and interactive sessions for dialogue and capacity development, and facilitate partnering between enterprises and investors. The 16th IBF is being co-hosted by the UN Global Compact and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The IBF was created by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with the aim of raising awareness among businesses regarding their impact and influence in tackling the challenges of sustainable development and poverty reduction.
