The 14th meeting of the BASIC Group — Brazil, South Africa, India and China — will meet in Chennai, India, from 15-16 February, to discuss climate change related issues, including how to take forward the decisions taken at the Doha Climate Change Conference. The group meets four times a year, once in each of the BASIC countries by rotation. The BASIC Group also invites representatives of other countries from the Group of 77/China.
