13th Regional Sustainable Buildings Conference (SB13)

SB13’s aim is to promote greater sustainability through cost effective solutions in design, construction and operation of buildings, including a focus on energy efficiency. The theme of the conference is “Realizing tropical sustainability in a holistic approach.” The event will consist of plenary sessions and paper and poster presentations. The conference is organized by Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority Center for Sustainable Buildings (BCA CSB) at the same time as the International Green Building Conference (IGBC), as part of the annual Green Building Week in Singapore. The conference is part of the Sustainable Buildings (SB) conference series, which is co-organized by the International Council for Building (CIB), the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment (iiSBE), the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), and the UN Environment Programme's Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (UNEP-SBCI), and is linked to the global SB conference in Barcelona in October 2014.
