The 11th meeting of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage associated with Climate Change Impacts was scheduled to meet from 10-12 March 2020.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it took place virtually. 

The Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage guides the implementation of the functions of the Mechanism. Four thematic expert groups, which work on slow onset events, non-economic losses, displacement related to the adverse impacts of climate change, and comprehensive risk management approaches, help to carry out the activities of the workplan.
