11th Annual High Level Forum: Connecting Water to Climate, Economic Growth and Development within the Post-2015 Development Agenda

As part of the Caribbean Water and Wastewater Association's (CWWA's) 24th Annual Conference and Exhibition, the 11th High Level Forum (HLF) on Connecting Water to Climate, Economic Growth and Development within the Post-2015 Development Agenda will discuss and seek collaboration on water and climate matters to help shape the sustainable development agenda of the Caribbean. Co-organized by the CWWA and the Global Water Partnership-Caribbean (GWP-C) in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Forum seeks to produce concrete outcomes and harmonized recommendations to guide national and regional efforts in operationalizing water, wastewater, and climate goals and targets for sustainable development. Some outcomes of the Forum should also feed into the contribution of the Caribbean Small Island Developing States (SIDS) at the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP) of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in December. The Forum is expected to bring together Caribbean Ministers in charge of water resources and management from more than ten countries, and representatives from regional and international organizations.
