The First Stakeholders Consultation meeting in preparation for the 11th World Water Forum will offer an opportunity for stakeholders to share inputs on the World Water Forum. The Forum is taking place on the theme, ‘Action for a Better Future,’ and aims to elevate the issues of water security and accessibility to a global priority on the world stage.
The World Water Council organizes the multi-stakeholder World Water Forum every three years as a platform for the water community and key decision makers to collaborate and make long-term progress on global water challenges.
The Stakeholders Consultation will convene immediately before the 12th Roundtable on Financing Water, which will focus on the theme, ‘Strengthening the Sustainability of Water Investments: Alternative Financing Approaches and Models’. The meeting aims to explore funding and financing models that can foster greater sustainability and resilience of water-related investments and will help inform the finance agendas of the 2026 UN Water Conference and the 11th World Water Forum.
