January 2010: The UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) has released its Winter 2009 Newsletter, which describes UNITAR’s key activities from the 2009 winter season, including climate change-related activities.
In particular, the Newsletter provides an overview of the implementation of the EU-funded Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA), a support facility aimed at assisting developing countries to increase their climate change adaptive capacity in support of the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
