Natural Resources Management, Food Security and Extension Strategies: Contributions to the Design of Policies for Climate Change Adaptation in Latin America

This workshop aims to exchange experiences between projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, El Salvador and Honduras. It will include representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO). Participants will discuss: national policies for natural resource management that help to create strategies for climate change adaptation; links between natural resource management, risk and disaster management and adaptation; and synergies between different countries.
