22 November 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) requested the submission of information on activities supporting, facilitating, regulating or promoting technology transfer and scientific and technological cooperation.

In accordance with Decision X/16 on technology transfer and cooperation, adopted by the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10) to the CBD, parties and others are requested to submit, by 1 May 2011, relevant information, including on: support for technology needs assessments and regulations, including capacity-building for technology assessments; pertinent capacity-building and training courses; pertinent seminars and symposia; information dissemination; and other implementation activities.
