Kemal_dervi_2Speaking during a recent press briefing, UN Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Kemal Dervis identified climate change as one of three UNDP priorities for the current year.

Speaking to the press, Dervis said “Bali was a modest success in the sense that there was a kind of basic agreement, but the real work obviously is now only beginning.” Dervis said the UN Development Group has a strong role to play in making the links between climate change and development and “putting on the table the various approaches that might work.”
