The Special Event on Delivering the Future We Want is one of a series of high-profile special events taking place on the sidelines of the 2024 UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). The event will bring together thought leaders and socioeconomic experts to consider how to accelerate SDG progress.

The UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) is convening several high-profile special events to highlight the impact of key sectors of society in driving SDG implementation, including this one. DESA is organizing this event as a Global Policy Dialogue in coordination with the High-level Advisory Board on Economic and Social Affairs. DESA launched the Global Policy Dialogue Series in July 2020 to highlight solutions for accelerating SDG implementation.
