This meeting will be the fourth and final session of the International Renewable Energy Agency’s (IRENA) Preparatory Commission. IRENA became a fully-fledged international organization on 8 July 2010, with the 25th ratification of its statute. The agenda will include: the nomination of a second interim Director General to replace departing interim Director General, Hélène Pelosse; propositions for the 2011 Work Programme and its budget (currently assumed to be about US$ 18 million for 2011); more closely defining its permanent institutions; the planning of the first General Assembly; and presentations of winner of the “Solar for all” design competition.
