Established by African leaders and opened in July 2016, the SDG Center for Africa (SDGC/A) is an international organization that supports governments, civil society, businesses and academic institutions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Africa. With support from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), SDGC/A and the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) will host this one-day meeting, to enable participants from both public and private sectors, academic institutions, civil society organizations (CSOs) and multilateral and bilateral donor agencies to discuss the major issues relevant to implementing the SDGs in Africa.
