In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of FOREST EUROPE, a side event at the margins of the eleventh meeting of the UN Forum on Forests (UNFF11) will convene. The event will look back on the main achievements of FOREST EUROPE and its contribution to sustainable forest management in the pan-European region. The event will also identify future challenges facing forests and discuss the high-level political commitments that may be required to address them.
