This conference will address the themes of: biodiversity and development; biodiversity, biogeography and climate change; biodiversity, taxonomy and the knowledge base; conservation priority-setting and funding; and the biodiversity science-policy interface. Its outcomes and recommendations will be presented at CBD COP 10, to be held in October 2010, in Nagoya, Japan.
