This forum will include the presentation of, and discussions on, a Strategic Research Agenda developed by stakeholders in the forest-based sector. The Strategic Research Agenda is a response to the Vision Document of the Forest-based Sector Technology Platform (FTP), which was launched on 15 February 2005 and anticipated that the forestry sector will be a key contributor to a sustainable European society by 2030.
