This international conference is being organized by Mari State Technical University, Russia, the University of Helsinki, Finland, Aristotle University, Greece, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria, and European Forest Institute (EFI). The meeting’s objectives are to provide an active forum for networking between Russian and EU forestry organizations, strengthen the dialogue between scientists, university staff and policy-makers, discuss new methodologies in forestry university education in the light of Bologna process, and analyze future needs and challenges in the field of sustainable forest management.
