COHAB 2005 – THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF BIODIVERSITY TO HUMAN HEALTH

This event seeks to link human health and biodiversity and raise awareness on the importance of biodiversity and ecosystem health to the Millennium Development Goals. In addition to the main conference, a workshop will be held on 25 August entitled “CBD Indicators for Health and Biodiversity,” which will focus on the development of indicators for measuring the status of species and ecosystems of particular importance to the production and security of food and medical resources, as included in CBD COP-7 Decision vii/30.
