This conference is an activity of the ITTO and is being implemented by the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia. It aims to promote the sustainable management of tropical forests, facilitate access to and promote the use of data, information and experiences related to successful forest management, and contribute to the attainment of ITTO Objective 2000 at the forest management unit level. The conference will review 14 case studies demonstrating best practice in the tropical forest sector.
