UNDP is conducting a series of regional high-level meetings involving decision-makers, to link social development goals to the sustainable development agenda and provide recommendations for the WSSD. These meetings aim to provide a platform where linkages among debt, trade and finance, ICTs, poverty and environment will be discussed. The UNDP Global Round Table on Trade and Investment for Sustainable Development is being held from 10-11 June in Abuja, Nigeria and the UNDP Global Round Table on Networking Partners for Sustainable Development is being held from 22-23 July in Cairo, Egypt.
