This side event will be held during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) and is being co-organized by the French Research Institute for Development, the French Environment and Energy management Agency and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO). Participants will consider, inter alia, the challenges of agriculture and climate change, carbon assessment of agricultural and forestry projects and policies, and tools to involve stakeholders.
