Paris+20 will finalize a series of model negotiations conducted in April and May in different cities around the world. The event is organized by a team of students from the University Sciences Po Paris, under the aegis of the association Sciences Po Environment and in partnership with the Social and Human Sciences Sector of the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The simulation will bring together over 100 students from diverse backgrounds who wish to make their voices heard at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). Two of the students participating in the project will join France’s official delegation to Rio+20, and take part directly in the negotiations.
