The World Bank Institute will co-organize and deliver a Workshop on “Climate Finance for Development” aimed at policy makers and energy sector planners of member countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS). The objective of the workshop is to raise awareness and share information on World Bank tools, instruments and best practices on financing climate change adaptation and sustainable energy. The workshop will help to identify knowledge gaps and capacity building needs of the Caribbean region in the context of climate change and discuss types of financial mechanisms suitable for OECS countries.
