26 August 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the report (FCCC/AWGLCA/2010/11) of the 11th session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA 11), held in Bonn, Germany, from 2-6 August 2010.

The Chair of the AWG-LCA, Margaret Mukahanana-Sangarwe (Zimbabwe), opened the session. She welcomed Daniel A. Reifsnyder (US) as Vice-Chair of the AWG-LCA, and Teodora Obradovic-Grncarovska (the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) as rapporteur. The AWG focused on the preparation of an outcome to be presented to the Conference of the Parties (COP) for adoption at its 16th session to enable the full, effective and sustained implementation of the Convention through long-term cooperative action now, up to and beyond 2012.
