Many Strong Voices (MSV) strengthen the voice of representatives from the Arctic and SIDS in international negotiations; raise awareness about the effects of climate change on vulnerable regions; and increase understanding of the needs, solutions, and practical measures for adaptation in SIDS and Arctic areas.
February 2012: A new website has been launched for Many Strong Voices (MSV), a programme linking climate change adaptation and mitigation activities in the Arctic and small islands development States (SIDS).
The objectives of MSV are to: strengthen the voice of representatives from the Arctic and SIDS in international negotiations; raise awareness about the effects of climate change on vulnerable regions; and increase understanding of the needs, solutions, and practical measures for adaptation in SIDS and Arctic areas.
The new website includes content relevant to policy practitioners about MSV’s ongoing activities, as well as public outreach information, including the Portraits of Resilience photography project, which has visited communities across the SIDS, and resources and activities sections.
