Adaptation Fund Releases Graphic Describing Its Activities

The Adaptation Fund has released an infographic describing the $190 million of allocated funds across projects in 28 countries.

The graphic highlights the following climate impacts: hurricanes and cyclones, water supplies, flooding, coastal zones, agriculture and food security, and landslides.

The graphic highlights the following climate impacts: hurricanes and cyclones; water supplies; flooding; coastal zones; agriculture and food security; and landslides.

The graphic outlines the sectors where the Adaptation Fund is active and underscores that the Fund has impacted 1.3 million direct beneficiaries, training over 7,000 people in climate resilience measures, supporting 85 early warning systems, protecting over 80km of coastline, and preserving or restoring 80,000 hectares of natural habitat. The graphic also describes the direct access facility of the Adaptation Fund and the accreditation of 15 National Implementing Entities (NIEs). [Adaptation Fund Graphic]
