Leading in Sustainable Development

The UN System Staff College Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development is organizing this executive leadership programme. The course was developed as a response to the call by UN Secretary-General António Guterres on repositioning the UN development system to deliver on the 2030 Agenda. The programme seeks to enable senior leaders from the UN system, the private sector, and civil society to lead, coordinate, and deliver nationally owned results.

The course will enable participants to understand key concepts, substantive focus, and nexus approaches of the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement on climate change, learn approaches to policy integration and sustainable development programming, and have the opportunity to critically examine their respective organizational cultures and understand their own leadership styles.
