The launch of the ‘State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2020’ (SOFI 2020) report will take place during the High-level Political Forum for Sustainable Development (HLPF).
The report presents the most recent and authoritative estimates of the extent of hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition around the world. This year, it includes a special focus on transforming food systems for affordable healthy diets.
The report is presented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the World Food Programme (WFP).
