As the Group of 7 (G7) Presidency in 2024, Italy will host the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Development in October 2024. Italy will focus its Presidency on Ukraine, unity among the G7, respect for the rules of international law, economic security, energy security, migration, and cooperation with Africa.

During 2024, Italy will host 21 ministerial meetings and the G7 Summit in June 2024.

The seven G7 countries are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US. Represented jointly by the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission, the EU participates in all discussions as a guest.
