13-15 June 2024 Putignano, Puglia, Italy
G7 Summit 2024

As the Group of 7 (G7) Presidency in 2024, Italy will host the G7 Summit in Puglia, Italy, in June. The Government of Italy selected Puglia, a city that has “acted as a bridge between East and West” and symbolizes connection between the East and West, to align with the Summit’s focus on the Global South. Italy also plans to focus its Presidency on Ukraine, unity among the G7, respect for the rules of international law, economic security, energy security, migration, and cooperation with Africa.

The G7 Summit is an international forum held annually for the leaders of the G7 member States of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the US. Represented jointly by the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission, the EU participates in all discussions as a guest.
