UNFCCC Releases Agenda for Durban Platform’s First Session

The UNFCCC Secretary has released the provisional agenda for the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action, which is scheduled to address organizational matters, and discuss its planning of work and workplan on enhancing mitigation ambition.

16 March 2012: The UNFCCC Secretary has released the provisional agenda for the first session of the Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (FCCC/ADP/2012/1), which is scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 17–24 May 2012.
The Ad Hoc Working Group on the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action (ADP) was established at the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the UNFCCC in Durban, South Africa, at the end of 2011. It is mandated to develop a protocol, another legal instrument or an agreed outcome with legal force under the Convention applicable to all Parties. At its first session, the ADP is scheduled to address organizational matters, and discuss its planning of work and workplan on enhancing mitigation ambition. [Provisional Agenda of the ADP]
