UNFCCC3 May 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released a miscellaneous document containing the views of five parties, one intergovernmental organization, and one NGO on experience with the application of the guidelines for the national adaptation plan (NAP) process for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) (FCCC/SBI/2013/MISC.2).

Parties having presented submissions are: Jamaica and the US; Malawi; Nepal for LDCs; Sri Lanka; and Tanzania. The World Health Organization (WHO) also presented a submission.

The submissions were made upon an invitation by the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 17) to the UNFCCC to parties and relevant organizations to submit, by 13 February 2013, information on their experiences with the application of the guidelines for the NAP process for LDC Parties, for consideration by the 38th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 38).
