UNFCCC10 April 2015: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published two documents on the international transaction log (ITL) for consideration by the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) at its 42nd session, scheduled to take place in June 2015, in Bonn, Germany.

The ‘Information security implementation in registry systems’ (FCCC/SBI/2015/INF.2) outlines the implementation status of information security controls in registry systems and includes an analysis by the ITL administrator and the Security Working Group established under the Registry System Administrators Forum. It also presents recommendations for developing and establishing arrangements for implementation of further information security controls, and the anticipated resource requirements.

The ‘Proposed programme budget for the biennium 2016–2017’ (FCCC/SBI/2015/3/Add.3) details the proposed work programme for the ITL for that biennium, highlighting that the focus of activities will be on ensuring the continuity and reliability of the operation of registry systems and of the ITL.
