SDG e-Inventory25 June 2013: Stakeholder Forum has prepared a summary of the submissions to date to the SDGs e-Inventory, which is an online tool that provides stakeholders with a platform to propose options for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The e-Inventory is available in three languages (English, Spanish and French) and provides a searchable database to permit users to view proposals that have been offered for the SDGs and the post-2015 development agenda.

The key themes emphasized in submissions to date are: employment; food; health; education; governance; water; gender equality; human rights; and social protection. The proposals have been offered by individuals representing Major Groups, governments, academia and intergovernmental organizations, with approximately one-fourth coming from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and another one-fourth from intergovernmental organizations.

Proposals are still welcome, and a further study of the proposals in the e-Inventory will be prepared in September, following which an updated analysis will be published focusing on the themes of the remaining meetings of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) Open Working Group (OWG) on the SDGs. Four additional OWG meetings are scheduled to take place between November 2013 and February 2014. [Initial Stocktaking of the SDGs e-Inventory][SDGs e-Inventory][UN Webpage on OWG]
