18 May 2012: The latest issue of “Rio+20: Making it Happen,” the newsletter of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), highlights the Partnerships Forum at Rio+20, which will take place from 20-22 June. This Forum is designed to showcase the role of partnerships in implementing sustainable development, scaling up and ensuring accountability.

The newsletter also notes two reports assessing the sustainability performance of Business and Industry in the lead-up to Rio+20: the 2012 Green Transition Scoreboard, tracking private investments in green markets; and the Sustainability Ratings Methodology, which measures large companies’ sustainability performance.

Finally, this issue features the recent inter-regional learning workshop of countries that have undertaken national preparatory processes for Rio+20, in Dakar, Senegal; and provides instructions on joining the Rio+20 Dialogues. [Publication: Making It Happen, Vol. 3, Issue 5]
