The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP) and R20 have signed a partnership agreement that increases both organizations capacities to deliver action-oriented programmes in line with the UN Secretary-General's Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Initiative.

9 October 2012: The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership (GSEP) and R20 have signed a partnership agreement that enhances their efforts towards concrete action that fosters the global use of renewable energy.

The partnership between GSEP, an international non-profit organization that promotes sustainable energy development, and R20, a non-profit coalition of partners that promotes low carbon, climate resilient economic development policies and best practices, will increase both organizations’ capacities to deliver action-oriented programmes in line with the UN Secretary-General’s Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL) Initiative. Specifically, the two will focus on sub-national, action-oriented programmes aiming to increase the rate of sustainable energy deployment to the energy poor.
