CBD Requests Scientific Information Ahead of EBSAs Workshop

The Western South Pacific Regional Workshop to Facilitate the Description of Ecologically or Biologically Significant Marine Areas (EBSAs) will be convened by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

CBD11 October 2011: In preparation for the Western South Pacific Regional Workshop to Facilitate the Description of Ecologically or Biologically Significant Marine Areas (EBSAs), the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has requested submission of relevant scientific information in support of the workshop’s objectives.

The workshop, which will take place from 22-25 November 2011, in Fiji, is convened by the CBD Secretariat in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP), with financial support from Japan.
