The Zero Carbon City International Forum aims to boost the work done by cities in their quest for net zero emissions. It will bring together invited representatives from various cities and related organisations both in Japan and from overseas, so that they can share advanced cases and discuss necessary measures to strengthen city-to-city cooperation.
The Forum is being organized by the Government of Japan, in cooperation with the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES).
